Man charged with the killing of his brother and the attempted murder and robbery of another individual. The defense convinced the government that K.L. could not legally be charged with the murder of his brother. In exchange for waiving his preliminary hearing all murder charges were dropped against K.L. The government still intended to proceed on the robbery and attempted murder charges. We, however, discovered that the lead detective on the case was corrupt. After we obtained grand jury testimony regarding the detective and his actions in another case, the government withdrew all charges against K.L.
